Each MRI session time is scheduled and charged at a minimum of 30 minutes plus each additional minute. The billed scan time is for scanning research subjects and includes the time it takes to get the subject into the magnet at the start and out of the magnet at the end. Scans performed to establish protocols are not billed.
Internal Rate – $660.00 per hour
External Rate – $760.00 per hour
Academic institutions in Virginia who signed the Access to Shared Resources Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be charged the internal rate: College of William and Mary, Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Virginia, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Old Dominion University, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
